Conewago Valley School District

Conewago Valley School District was facing a long list of deferred maintenance items along with the need to fill a gap in the Technical Education facilities and programs offered to its students. The Administration was looking for a partner to address the District’s wide range of needs. Through a competitive selection process, the District chose McClure Company as its facility planning partner because of our ability to lead the development process, manage the construction, and self-perform the construction of critical systems.

In collaboration with Conewago Valley’s Administration and Board, McClure Company initially performed the engineering and installation of the District’s deferred maintenance items during the summer of 2018 without impact to District operations. In parallel to these activities, McClure Company worked with the District to select an architectural partner and develop a 25,000 square foot Technical Education addition to house new programs that are now offered by the District. This investment in the District’s Technical Education curriculum is already benefiting the students of Conewago Valley School District, with an enrollment increase of 700 students in the first full year of the program’s operation.
